About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Roth formerly Elizabeth Suhrbier is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a range of clinical experiences in community mental health, Memorial Health Systems, Gateway Foundation in admissions and intake department, Individual Advocacy group, Lincoln Prairie, and Contact Ministries. Elizabeth provides therapy to individuals 12 years of age and older to adults struggling with anxiety, depression, school and peer relational difficulties, academic challenges, grief and loss, self-esteem, self-confidence, stress management, PTSD, and managing and coping effectively with life transitions and adjustment.
Elizabeth also has worked with increasing social skills, social-emotional difficulties, social interactions and communication, perspective taking, substance abuse, relationship concerns, and managing and practice of life skills. She has worked with middle school, high school, and college students in life changes at home, educational settings, and family.
Elizabeth received her Masters of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Illinois at Springfield, Illinois and additionally holds her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology at MacMurray College, Jacksonville, Illinois. She worked as an outpatient therapist at Memorial Behavioral Health before joining group private practice.
